     My name is Sean Vanderaa and I am a junior at Carlmont High School in Belmont, California. I have been writing all my life and always enjoy finding new ways to express my ideas. I was a writer for the Highlander and the sports editor for Scot Scoop, but have switched and am now editing for the Highlander and writing for Scot Scoop. Outside of journalism I enjoy playing baseball and spending time in the outdoors.
